I read your blog because it makes me smile and it makes me curious.
I needlefelted 3 poppies yesterday. I had found some buttons and pins from my grandparents’ marine corp uniforms and knew I had to make something with them. THey’re coming for tea tomorrow so I can present them with their Rememberance Day surprises: a needle felted poppy with the marine corp botton in the centre. I’m excited and I thought you could appreciate the inspiration in the found art.
Reading the blog tonight, I laughed about the dead cat. When I was in ROmania, I took a picture of a cat outside my apartment that I Thought was sleeping in the middle of the parking lot. He was still “sleeping” there the next day. :)

    Hello!
This is Amanda here, from Tall Tree Farm (Dave & Amanda). I signed up for you needle felting workshop at Needles in the Hay. I am soo excited! Looking forward to hanging out and learning from you! Have you done any fake taxidermy- my idea is to needle felt a deer head to hang on our wall for Dave for Christmas.
